FRANK SLATER

     Frank Slater has produced records for Matt Caplan (Rent, South Pacific) and Mike Soprano (Catch 22, Streetlight Manifesto) and many local artists. While in CA , he worked with Rocco Guarino (Velvet Revolver, Camp Freddy) and Kevin Smith (Tracy Chapman) where he learned about the use of analog gear in a digital world along with new techniques for mixing and producing at Matt Sorum's own Drac Studio. He has interned and done work at studios in the tri-state area (Trax East, Sound Spa). He has a degree in music from Brookdale College with course studies in music theory and music production (Pro Tools) and has passed the Pro Tools 101 exam. In his spare time he teaches music, writes songs, and plays out with his band Panic Switch.
